In 2016 I began an adventure living abroad and decided to try my hand as a freelance copywriter. What began as an opportunity to work while travelling has become my regular day job. I am now firmly planted in Sydney and enjoy working on a variety of copywriting projects with both new and returning clients.
During my time as a freelance copywriter I have completed projects for a number of brands and businesses including: Ultimate Edge Communications, Mortgage House, RedBalloon, Adrenaline, Taylor & Scott Lawyers, Timber Artistry, Profile Building, Ivory Coat, Q Report Jewellery Insurance, Kathryn Green Illustration, Lokal Workshop, Travel Asia, Nevada Projects, H2 Insurance Solutions, Brighte, The Vetiver Collection and Koh Living.
I have been fortunate to work in, and around ‘words’ for nearly a decade. During that time I have worked as an editor, features writer, copywriter and production manager across print and digital media.
I began my career with an independent publishing company producing a range of wedding and beauty magazines. I became well versed in all aspects of magazine production and my skills include: researching and writing engaging editorial features, copy-editing, adhering to strict deadlines, and producing content according to a set word count.
As a shoot assistant on multiple fashion and lifestyle editorial shoots, I learnt the art of styling, coordinating and directing a shoot. I have experience planning and styling editorial shoots for high profile brands like Vera Wang Wedgwood.
In 2012 I was appointed Online Editor and expanded my skills into the digital sphere. This position involved producing content for both social media and websites daily, including posts, articles and blogs.
